Cadman's Cottage, grounds, trees, space

Location: 110 George Street, The Rocks, NSW 2000

Built in 1816, Cadmans Cottage is one of only a handful of Sydney buildings that remain from the first decades of the colony. Over the years this sandstone cottage has been a water transport headquarters, a sailors' home and a water police station, among other things. Originally situated beside the water, the construction of Circular Quay moved the harbour 100 metres away!

Now Cadmans Cottage houses a museum and the Sydney Harbour National Park Information Centre.
