Bradleys Head Light Tower
Location: Bradleys Head, Port Jackson, NSW 2088

The Bradleys Head Light Tower is located within the Sydney Harbour National Park. You can take a stroll from the Taronga Zoo Wharf or drive down Bradley Head Road. Once there you can admire the tower and explore the 1839 gun emplacements and mast of the HMAS Sydney Mast. The views back towards the harbour will also captivate you.

Physical Description
Bradleys Point Light Tower is located on the point of Bradley's Head Peninsula and used as a navigation marker and warning light to ships entering and leaving the harbour. It is constructed of timber and concrete. (Travis Partners 1996:11)
The lighthouse design is similar to 1934 design at Robertson's Point. It displays occulting green light. (Anglin 1990:3004) |
